About this event

There’s been a lot of noise so far in 2021 about iOS 14 and the impact for ad platforms and the brands that advertise on them, particularly surrounding measurement and audience-targeting in Facebook.

In a nutshell, increased privacy controls in the latest iOS release will dramatically restrict ad platforms’ abilities to track users of Apple products across apps and mobile web – and Facebook has reacted by pre-emptively limiting its attribution windows and the type of data available for advertisers to target customers across all devices. Targeting consumers and measuring the performance of your marketing efforts through Facebook is getting harder and more limited.

What we’ll cover

  • Breaking down the jargon: What is iOS 14, ATT and IDFA?

  • What do the changes mean for marketers?

  • What happens next? Short, medium and long term view.

  • What can marketers do to minimize impact and gain a competitive advantage.

About the speaker

Sam Carter is the CEO of Fospha, the Direct-to-consumer Growth Platform. Fospha’s independent attribution product enables fast-growing brands to optimise their cost of customer acquisition and lifetime value. Fospha’s typical client spends the majority of their budget in Paid Social and over £100k/month across their digital marketing channels. Before Fospha, Sam was an early employee at Groupon where, as Director of Category and Revenue Management, he developed the analytics and data science team for the EMEA business, where he saw first-hand the attribution challenge ecommerce marketers face… which Fospha now solves.
